Intune collector
Deploy the Wadyu App Metering collector through Intune Proactive Remediation.
Purpose
The collector measures only the applications selected in Script Builder and posts observations to Wadyu with a customer-specific collector key.
Practical workflow
Deploy with Intune Proactive Remediation. Start with a pilot group, validate observations, then expand. Rotate the key if it appears in a public ticket or screenshot.
Controls and validation
Validate last collector usage, observation counts, API errors and whether targeted applications appear in App Metering. A technical validation can take hours; a financial recommendation usually needs 14 to 30 days.
Security and compliance
The collector must be transparent, limited and proportionate. It does not read documents, URLs or screen contents. Retention must match the customer agreement.
Common mistakes
No data usually means wrong key, wrong URL, proxy restriction, Intune assignment issue, unsaved profile or process name mismatch.
